Educational Programme

(03.A) Educational Assistance to School Going Orphan Boys and Girls

This Programme includes those orphans and poor students who reside in their respective homes/ outside orphanages. The Trust supports these orphans in their education by providing school fee, books, uniform and Stationary items etc on the recommendations of head of the Institutes where they study.
(03.B) Education through Institutions/Schools:
The Trust has under its educational programme established schools at different places to impart quality education to orphans girls and boys.
A Glimpse of such two Schools is as follows:
Banat Institute of Education, GopalporaChadooraBudgam
Establised in 2002. Most modern way of education, well qualified staff with a well equipped library, Science Laboratory and computer lab. A three storeyed building with present roll 510.
Aglow Public School NowporaTralPilwama
Established in 2001 as a result of the alliance between the managing committee of the School and the J & K Yateem Trust. The School is now running more smoothly. A two storeyed building with a computer, science laboratory and a library as well.Experienced and well qualified staff.Present Roll 390.

(03.D) Educating the Girl Child
The Trust by informing its all units about the importance of the Girl child has taken a positive and a serious initiative towards the same knowing the fact that the education of a girl has never been given a priority in the State.Under this programme, in the year2011-12, 217 orphangirls were covered from Jammu and Kashmir including 105 at Gulshan-e-Banat
Hostel, Each girl receives assistance in the shape of clothes, uniforms, shoes, books, stationary, healthcare and all othermaterial amounting Rs 16000 per year. Thefunds for this purpose are provided by Austrian Kashmir Social Project which wasestablished by ArshidNabiShonthu.
